Delivery & Governance

Quality Management

Define acceptable work, review in proportion to risk, calibrate decisions, correct errors, and remove recurring causes of rework.

Discuss the delivery requirement

Why it matters

Define quality in terms the operation can apply.

Quality cannot be managed through an unexplained percentage alone. The same error rate can represent very different exposure depending on the task, the consequence of error, the source material, and whether the issue is detected before the work moves downstream.

AdvanPath quality management begins with a usable definition of acceptable output. Review, calibration, correction, and improvement are then designed around the work and the decisions it supports.

Before launch, both teams should agree how quality will be measured, which findings require immediate escalation, who may settle reviewer disagreements, how corrected work returns to the process, and what evidence is needed before review coverage changes.

Principles

What buyers should expect to see.

01

Define what acceptable means

Acceptance criteria identify required fields, evidence, tolerances, review points, prohibited assumptions, and the treatment of uncertain items.

02

Review in proportion to consequence

Coverage and reviewer skill reflect process maturity, task complexity, error impact, exception type, and observed performance.

03

Calibrate before scaling

Provider and client reviewers compare representative work and settle differences before more volume or lower review coverage is approved.

04

Correct the cause, not only the item

Errors are classified so training, instructions, systems, inputs, capacity, or control design can be corrected where the problem begins.

Operating method

A quality cycle from acceptance criteria to improvement.

  1. 01

    Define

Set acceptance criteria, error categories, review roles, evidence, correction, escalation, and approval requirements.

  2. 02

    Calibrate

Compare representative output with authorized reviewers and record agreed interpretations and corrections.

  3. 03

    Review

Apply full, sampled, targeted, or second-level review according to the agreed risk and performance model.

  4. 04

    Correct

Repair affected work, communicate consequential issues, and document what changed and why.

  5. 05

    Improve

Use recurring findings to update source controls, procedures, training, workflow, systems, and review coverage.

Evidence

Records that make quality review reproducible

  • 01Acceptance criteria and error taxonomy
  • 02Calibration records and approved examples
  • 03Review plan and sampling rationale
  • 04Quality results by error category and consequence
  • 05Correction and rework records
  • 06Root-cause and improvement actions

Responsibilities

Keep standards, review, correction, and approval clear.

AdvanPath responsibility

Apply the approved method, perform assigned review, correct provider errors, report consequential findings, and implement approved improvements.

Client responsibility

Approve acceptance criteria, provide authorized reviewers, decide ambiguous policy or professional questions, and approve material changes.

Dependencies

Source quality, client instructions, systems, third-party data, and review turnaround are considered when quality results are interpreted.

Common questions

What quality rate does AdvanPath guarantee?

There is no single responsible rate for every process. Acceptance thresholds, review coverage, and service remedies are defined for the specific work and agreement.

When can sampling replace full review?

Only when the task, consequences, process maturity, error history, exception coverage, and client approval support that change. Higher-risk items may continue to require full review.

How are reviewer disagreements handled?

They are recorded and routed to an authorized owner. The resulting decision is used to update examples, procedures, or acceptance criteria where necessary.
